Concord Law School is approved as a degree-granting institution in the State of California by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. Approval means the law school and its operation comply with standards established by California law for private postsecondary institutions. Concord is registered with the California Committee of Bar Examiners permitting its graduates to apply for admission to the California Bar.

Additionally, Concord is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The DETC Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The DETC Accrediting Commission is one of fourteen higher education accrediting bodies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Incorporated into the DETC's accrediting process is the concept that educational programs delivered at a distance should be comparable (in curriculum and outcomes) to those offered by accredited traditional residential universities. DETC accredited institutions and their programs are evaluated on this basis within its published educational and ethical business standards.

Concord Law School students have the option of paying their tuition in full, or they can take advantage of tuition financing made available directly to students. A variety of payment plans are available.
